Although
I haven't got as many Australian photos as I would like, being a wombat I
couldn't not have an Australia pa
ge. So I grouped the one photo I have in front
of Sydney's famous opera house
with New Zealand and Pacific Islands. I haven't been back to Oz for years
and need to get back for some more updates.
Australia is where
it all began and as a little wombat I
dreamed of a world beyond it's shores. A first logical stop was New
Zealand where I can be seen (right) doing a bungee
jump in front of the bridge
that started that particular form of elastic entertainment. New
Zealand is
beautiful in an extreme I never knew existed.
Not really part of Australia, but somewhere I have been privileged to visit is the world's most
remote inhabited destination. An island in the Pacific called
Rapa Nui. You
probably know it as Easter Island named after the day it was discovered on. This
little island really is in the middle of nothing, but miles and miles of sea;
and there's almost nothing there apart from a small town, three volcanoes and
the enigmatic stone heads, it's famous for.
